For more than 20 years, Trish has been helping swimmers of all ages and abilities develop confidence, safety skills, and a lifelong love of the water. As the founder of Anchored Lifestyle Swim School, a certified Water Safety Instructor, and a Certified Lifeguard Instructor, she believes every person deserves the opportunity to learn to swim regardless of age, experience, or ability. Her patient, encouraging approach has helped dozens of swimmers overcome fears, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals in the water.
What started as offering swim lessons has grown into a thriving swim school that now provides private and semi-private lessons, adaptive swim instruction, lap swim opportunities, and lifeguard training. Trish is especially passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every swimmer feels supported, challenged, and celebrated.
When she's not on the pool deck, Trish teaches PreK for an inner-city school district, where she brings the same enthusiasm, patience, and nurturing spirit to her classroom. Whether she's working with a toddler taking their first swim lesson, a child with unique learning needs, or an adult learning to swim for the first time, her goal is always the same: to help every swimmer feel confident, capable, and safe in the water.
Outside of teaching, Trish enjoys spending quality time with her family and is passionate about health, wellness, and living an active lifestyle. She believes swimming is more than just a life-saving skill; it's a lifelong gift that builds confidence, independence, and joy.
